Santa Clara Fairgrounds Facility Rental Testimonials

On behalf of the hundreds of volunteers, staff and spectators who were a part of the 2011 Reebok CrossFit Nor Cal Regionals, I wanted to offer a sincere thank you for welcoming us to the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds. I would like to recognize Joe, Rachel and Mathew. Without their help, the event could not have happened as it did.

I especially want to acknowledge Big Mike McBride. We had record rain fall on Saturday and our events still ran successfully in the Arena. Mike and his team responded quickly to help us stop the flooding in our athlete registration tent. Mike made himself available to us all weekend and I am sincerely grateful.

You were responsible for making sure that our media team had the necessary WiFi infrastructure and that was a success all weekend. Steve with SVC and Jim at Ovations were also key partners.

And lastly, the man who helped us secure our agreement months ago. A big thank you to Bob for bringing the first Reebok CrossFit NorCal event to the Fairgrounds. I wish you much continued success.

Our experience with the Fairgrounds I would characterize as excellent. First getting our dates reserved, deposit in, and contracts signed is a now familiar and seamless process. Coordination for getting advertising banners up a few weeks before the show is easy with your staff. Setup is a pleasure because they seem to care that we have what we need.

When problems large or small arise, they are dealt with as quickly as possible. During the Show having housekeeping dedicated to the building has been beneficial the last few years to keep the bathrooms clean, trash cans from overflowing and adjusting the temperature.

Thank you to you and your staff and I hope we can continue for another 30 plus years.
